Global Korea Scholarship 2025, is a fully funded scholarship program provided for excellent international applicants. It includes Undergraduate, Master and PhD programs.
It includes a Full tuition waiver, monthly stipend, on-campus housing, health insurance and relocation support.
Its purpose is to provide international students from higher education institutions with a chance to study in Korea.
There is no restriction as to programs, and every applicant will have a lot of choices for future practice.

Global Korea Scholarship Eligibility Requirements.
The applicants for this fellowship opportunity will have to fulfil the below-enumerated qualifications:
- Languages: English / Korean
Eligible Countries: International ineligible countries excluding Korean nationals.
- For Undergraduate Course:
– Applicants must be under 25 by March 1st in the selection year.
Applicants must have completed or currently be completing a local elementary, middle & high school in the same manner by March 1st of the year when selected.
- For Graduate Course:
– Applicants must be 40 years of age or younger as of September 1 in the year of selection;
Applicants should have completed a bachelor’s or Master’s degree on 28th February of the selection year
– Current Professors from ODA recipient countries already in the UK must be under 45 years old at the time of application
- Applicants must be in good physical and mental health to study in Korea for the planned period.
- Current or former Korean university students cannot apply.
- A score of greater than 80 on a scale of 100 (percentile), or in the top 20% of graduating class
- A GPA of at least 2.64/4.0, 2.80/4.3, 2.91/4.5 or 3.23/5 in sum
How to Apply For the Global Korea Scholarship
- If you want to get the scholarship so now, kindly follow these steps:
- When a candidate applies at the Korean embassy, he/she will send original or attested documents to the embassy.
- In contrast, applications direct to the university require all documents to be submitted (along with several clear photocopies) to the home university.
- An embassy applicant can apply for 3 universities and a direct university applicant can apply for only one.
Embassy Track Quota
- Total: 71 Fellows, 68 countries
- Koreans abroad: 7 scholars from 7 countries
- IRTS: 9 Ukrainian scholars
In the embassy track this year, 87 students (each country has its own limit) will be selected.
University Track Quotas
- Under the University-Industry Cooperation (UIC) Program: 100 scholars
*The UIC Program is available for all countries.
- R-GKS: 80 scholars from 6 regions
- Associate Degree:100 scholars from 74 countries (No regional or country-specific quotas.
