Guillaume Dupaix International Master’s Scholarship: Program-The Guillaume Dupaix International Master’s Scholarship is a talent and merit-based program funded by the Luxembourg Ministries of Foreign and European Affairs and Research and Higher Education trying to improve study conditions for highly qualified international students studying at the University of Luxembourg with a scholarship holder.

During the school holidays (40 hours per week) and/or throughout the academic year (15 hours per week), you are allowed to work as a student at the University of Luxembourg, regardless of your home country.

Scholarship Highlights
- Provides up to two years of stipend support -€ 10,000 per academic year.
- Section of the scholarship is given for student accommodation and the rest are offered in tranches at the commencement of each semester, but not more than two years.
- Scholarships are subject to performance review and may be removed under certain circumstances (such as academic misconduct, failure to progress or withdrawal from the Master´s degree).
- The scholarship is not tuition-only.
- The scholarship does not cover insurance for the house and security deposit. Students should read the instructions and due dates very thoroughly, and try to apply for their accommodations earlier rather than later.
Eligibility Requirements
You need to achieve the following points in order to be eligible for such a scholarship:
- International students — both those from the EU and those coming from another part of the world — applying for a Master’s degree
- Only accessible for Master’s programs that complete their two-year program in Luxembourg. Master’s programmes with an obligatory semester or year abroad are ineligible.
- Outstanding academic success throughout undergraduate studies.
- Full-time students
- Non-recipients of Luxembourg’s State Financial Aid for Higher Education (previously CEDIES).

1. Apply to the Master’s programme:
First, we recommend that you review the admission standards listed on the Master programme’s website to ensure that your application is comprehensive.
You should next submit your Master’s application and all relevant documentation using the online admissions site.
2. Evaluation of Your Master’s Application:
Once completed, your application will be delivered to the director of the Master’s programme of your choice.
If the Programme Director believes your application fits the requirements for excellence, you will be notified and invited to apply for the excellence scholarship individually. This notification will provide a link to submit your scholarship application.
3. Scholarship Applications:
To complete your online scholarship application, you must:
- Complete the dedicated online form.
- Attach a personal statement detailing your reasons for applying and highlighting your talents.
- Please include two academic recommendation letters.
- After the submission of your scholarship application, it will be evaluated with our review.
- You are advised to follow these processes to make sure that your application is managed correctly.
