DAAD Scholarship Program Application Benefits
Study Scholarships for graduates in various fields – DAAD Scholarship Study scholarship holders will receive:
- courses to be attended with tuition fees waived for the 2 years of the Master’s program,
- monthly scholarships of 934 euros (graduates), and £1,300 (doctoral candidates).
- contributions for insurance against health, accident and personal liability
- travel allowance
- study grant of 460 euros per year
- Scholarship Duration: 10 months to 2 years (depending on the degree program) for a Master’s degree at a state or state-recognized University in Germany enrolled full-time and on-campus, in fields related to STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics).
- Monthly stipend for accompanying family members.
DAAD Scholarship Eligible Criteria
To be eligible for the DAAD Scholarship in Germany, candidates must:
- Identify as a citizen of the third world. Ie developing countries
- Bachelors in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics)
- If you fulfil this requirement, make sure your proficiency in English or German is certified.
- Do not be more than 6 years after receiving your university degree by the time of application deadline
- Past the due date, you send in your application to the German university for your desired course.
- Additionally, in case you have resided for more than 15 months in Germany at the time of the application deadline, your app will not be considered.
- Candidates have a minimum of 2 years professional experience
- Candidates can show their motivation to be related to development and have a role in social responsibility, initiating and supporting change processes in his/her personal and professional environment after undergoing the training/scholarship.
- Have an academic performance that is beyond average.
